The Black Horse Amberley

The Black Horse is everything one could possibly want of a traditional village pub. Perched on the edge of Amberley, with some of the most stunning views in The Cotswolds, it has proudly retained old fashioned pub values; a genuine warm welcome, a selection of the finest real ales, great pub food and roaring open fires in the winter.

Outside there are several terraced areas with comfortable bistro cafe furniture perfectly positioned for relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere and breathtaking views. And if the weather isnt at its best then theres always the terrace under the cover of canvas with a couple of open log fires.

The Prince Albert, Stroud

The Prince Albert Public House is on the edge of Rodborough Common overlooking Stroud, an area of natural beauty known for its walks and wildflowers, between the Cotswold’s hills and Stroud valleys.

There is a warm, welcoming atmosphere in the pub to make you feel at home while you enjoy your drink, and boy is there a wide range of drinks to choose from at the bar! The Prince Albert is home for not only the locals, but also Lotti and her family; as Lotti puts it herself, “If you come twice we’ll remember what you drink.” To find out more about the bar click on In the Bar to see the drinks menu and information about the pub itself.
The area of Rodborough and Stroud is famous for its cloth and creative atmosphere, with local artists, authors and poets including Laurie Lee and Damien Hirst. Rodborough and Stroud both have close ties with the Arts, New Age and traditional approaches to life.
